Ocean House Boutique Hotel & Motel

The proximity to the beach was excellent. It was a few min walk to the pier and the palace playland. The room was beautiful and clean. There are grills to use and an area to sit, but the grills were very dirty and the area to sit had a lot of trash around it. The staff were helpful. I would stay again at this hotel.

This hotel is an absolute gem! Located directly on the beach, the view and convenience can’t be beat—perfect for a relaxing oceanside getaway. The staff were incredibly friendly. The rooms, while cozy and on the smaller side, were spotless and adorably decorated, giving the entire place a charming vibe. Everything about our stay was wonderful, and I’d 100% come back again. Highly recommend!

We stayed in room 221 which was a king suite. Room was beautiful and cozy with a great view. Only improvements would be for the hot water to be a little warmer and our heat would not work. It was not cold in our room, but we did want it a few degrees warmer. Maintenance did come, but still only blew cool air. Beautiful renovation that we enjoyed!

Love the history, this is the oldest still standing hotel on OOB. The updates are great. Although our room was smaller, it was very clean with a huge bathroom completely updated. Right on the water with a nice charm. Would definitely stay again.

We used the Ocean House for our October wedding and I would highly recommend them to anyone! The staff were very friendly and helpful. They were extremely responsive to my mom and I throughout the the entire planning process. They were accommodating to our needs during our stay and responsive to guests' questions about our transportation, etc. The rooms are very nicely updated and we loved waking up to the ocean view. The antique style of the first floor provided an awesome atmosphere to get together with our friends and family throughout the weekend. Using the Ocean House and the collection of hotels which surround them were game changing to our event. Thank you so much! We will be back!

We had an amazing stay at this old quaint (but very well maintained thanks to Dave!) manor. Downstairs sitting areas took you back 100 years to simpler times, places like this just don't exist anymore, The Ocean House is a classic, warm, inviting and comfortable. Our room was quite small but cozy, TV was a little too big however and there was zero storage for clothes. However all the updates to include a very efficient A/C unit made you forget the shortcomings.

Room seems to be updated with older touches to keep with the area. Entrance door and bathroom door could use a more secure way of closing. Some drawers of sorts would come in handy too. As far as view and location its pretty hard to beat and the bed is pretty comfortable.

We had an excellent time staying at the Ocean House with our family. We stayed in one of the updated two bedrooms apartments. Beds were comfortable, we loved the kitchenette. The location was awesome and staff was helpful. Our rooms were clean. We had so much fun at the beach and swimming in the waves! There is a cute little market and place to rent all the beach items we needed. We would definitely stay here again. Only recommendation, we wish there were beach towels available in the room.
